I have deleted a post before, but forget the mechanism and "search" and FAQ did not help. Is a control button missing?

You cannot delete the first post in a thread because that would leave the thread without a starting point. You can delete your own replies if you are logged in.

You can edit ANY of your own posts/replies if you are logged in.

The Delete icon is on the colored bar right above any post that you are allowed to delete.
