The Pallet Enterprise, Pallet Profile Weekly, and Recycle Record are teaming together to conduct a Wage/Human Resources Survey of the wooden pallet and container industry. The last labor survey we conducted was in 2004. Because of the recent change in minimum wage laws and industry requests, we have designed this relatively simple, easy-to-complete survey. We are asking readers to help both themselves and the industry by completing this survey form and returning it to us.
Each survey will be kept absolutely confidential. Survey results will become part of a database that will be used to compile a statistical report on human resources in the pallet and container industry. Individual surveys will not be distinguishable in any way. The statistical report will be mailed to each participating company that submits a useable survey form. Eligible companies are those that manufacture or recycle wooden pallets or containers. The report will not be published in its entirety in any of the three sponsoring publications, although isolated segments may be presented.
Participating companies will receive a copy of the complete results. If you do not participate, then you will not automatically receive the published report, but it will be available for sale to interested parties. The final study report is our way of thanking those that take the time to complete this survey. We anticipate doing future surveys for the industry on other topics of interest. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey so that our staff can provide our readers with the most valuable information possible.
The cutoff date for survey submission is May 30th. The finished report should be ready for distribution by late June.
