We produce 350 cy of weekly wood waste that we pay to have removed. I have considered a grinder for over 2 years, but could not foresee the return on my investment quick enough by just simply reducing the size of the waste. I realize that wood chips are a valuable commodity in many regions, but not in South Texas. I have offered a "done deal" to grinder manufacturers if they could find me a departure source. No luck yet. Probably going to purchase anyway and hope for the best on departure. There are a lot of pallet companies out there.......what do you do with your wood waste? Opinions/advice from grinder owners? My concerns are maintenance, how much machine to buy, dust, noise, ease of operation...... (I am especially interested in the opinions of anyone who has a low RPM, high torque, hopper fed style. I have seen one of these in action and was surprised by the lack of noise and dust and the small footprint) Thanks in advance
