FINAL EMAIL

Mr. Seagal,
I believe you must be extremely mistaken to think that our company is going to pay for YOUR shipping costs to Africa. Our company does thousands of exports a year and the customers handle, coordinate, and pay for their own shipments.
If you would still like to purchase these 10 cabinets (which something tells me you won't), you need to pay with a cashiers check or money orders, and coordinate your own shipping charges.
Regards!

I AM STILL WAITING FOR "MR. SEAGAL" TO GET BACK TO ME. HE IS USING THE EMAIL ADDRESS : PAULSEAGAL@GMAIL.COM
I HOPE THIS CAN HELP PEOPLE FROM NOT GETTING SCAMMED.

Very simply woodworker, was the shipping charges more than the items...ie he gave you the 7000 cash, but how much was this shipping?  If the shipping was more than the counter tops, he banks the difference in the form of a stolen credit card.   This scam artists are coming up with very very creative ways to do this.

If the above pertains situation pertains to you..you've been scammed.  Was the cash good?  Our counterfeit???

You'll find out in a couple of months time when you're bank charges you back for one or both.  Several months can go by before this happens.

I run a small replacement window and siding company in Colorado and I got the same treatment from this guy. Below is a copy of our e mail thread.

He contacted me through our website with no phone number. He only asked if I sold vinyl windows. I emailed back.

ME:
Thank you for inquiring about our company's products. Yes we do sell vinyl windows. In fact we sell premium custom made vinyl windows from several different manufacturers so that we can offer you the best product for your needs. We keep our overhead very low and pass those savings on to you so you can get the same high quality vinyl windows you here advertised on the TV or radio for much less than you might expect.

Can I have Darryl come by and give you an estimate on your home. We do not use any kind of high pressure sales tactics and will never sale your information to another company.

Thanks again for visiting our website!

HIM:
Hello Brandon,

Thanks alot for your email..I need the Vinyl window in size 34" x 36" Double Hung, white, with half screen, grids between the glass and Low E and Argon, energy star rated i will install it my self. and i will be picking them up at your shop.Kindly email me back with the price range and i will get back to you with the quantity that i need so that we can proceed with this order further..

Best Regards
Rev,Martin Dave

Rev, Martin Dave

For a double hung vinyl window, with grids, low e glass w/ argon and half screen, I would use an Amerimax window made here in Loveland CO. If you install it yourself I could order up the windows at a price of $275.00 per window, and they would be at the warehouse in 10 days to 2 weeks. This is a very good window and is not only Energy Star rated but has a 2.9 u factor and a 2.8 solar heat gain which makes them eligible for the energy tax credit. The energy tax credit of 2009-2010 pays 30% of your purchase of qualifying windows up to $1500.00. Feel free to call or email with any questions regarding the tax credits.

We are ready to go as soon as you are and will be awaiting your email or phone call. Thanks again!

HIM:
Hello Brandon,

Thanks alot for your email.Am okay with the price and i will like you to email me back with the total price on 20 pieces plus tax pick up at your shop and also advice with the method payment that you accept so that we can proceed with this order further.

Regards
Rev,Martin Dave

ME:
Rev, Martin Dave

The total price including tax for 20 windows of the size and specifications we talked about would be $5500.00. We take Visa/MC/AMEX, check, or we have financing options available through Wells Fargo.

I would need to have Darryl meet up with you to sign a contract for us and we would need a down payment of $2750.00 which is half of the total price, to make the window order. I would recommend meeting up at the job site so that Darryl can make sure the windows you are ordering are going to work well for your situation, and he can address any issues that are specific to the building that they are being installed in.

We recieve windows from Amerimax at the manufacturer's warehouse in Denver off of Washington between 54th and 52nd. You can certainly pick the windows up there if that is convenient for you or we can drop ship them to the job site for $100.00.

Let me know how you would like to proceed. We look forward to meeting you!

HIM:
Good Morning Brandon,
I just got a message from my church member regarding a conference meeting in Rome which i have to attend .Due to that i will not be able to pick up the windows myself .I want you to do me a favor by contacting a shipping company which i recommended and find out the cost for shipment.I want the windows should be ship to my new orphanage home that am construction.

Here is the shipping address below.
Rev ,Martin Dave
1methordis kids oprhange
32 Trasaco Valley
City Accra
Country Ghana

Kindly go ahead and contact Express Freight Shipping Company with the pick up location and delivery address as well as the total weight of the windows. I have been using them for sometime now and they offer good customers service. After you Sherdule the pick up with the shipping company i will like you to calculate the amount of the windows plus the shipping charges so that i can email you with my Credit Card for you to process for the total amount.

Here is their email address copy and email them :
Expressfreight277@gmail.com

Thanks for your Patience
Rev, Martin Dave

I immediatly did some research on the address as well as the shipping company and found that the shipping company does not exist. I emailed the shipping company and asked where they were located and what their website was and this was the email I got back:

EXPRESS FREIGHT SHIPPING

We are affiliated worldwide our website is under construction.

Regards,
Mr. Micheal Smith
Express Freight Shipping (world export)

I knew this had to be bogus at this point and did some more rooting around before I found this forum. I am glad other's posted on this scam. This is an overseas (look at the spelling and grammar) email scam job that gets you to pay for shipping charges to a non existent company because you want to help the poor children in Ghana.
