I have been using screw nails for a long time and now must consider using ringshank due to a customer pulling the pallets apart. We have been using 2 1/5" in 1x6 attached to pine 2x4. Will the ringshnk hold better in pine?

I am not a nail expert but do know something about them. Drive screw nails are generally considered to hold the best in hardwoods, and ring shank nails are often preferred for softwoods, including pines.

We only manufacture soft wood export pallets using pine and we only use ring shank nails as they hold a lot better, currently we use a 57mm coated ring shank nail (dare I say) from China.
