Seems Chep has been real slow with their payments. I only return a few hundred every month or two. Anyone else noticing this or am I the only one. I think one load is over 90 days out now.

Don't be surprised. Right now CHEP is getting hit just as much as the rest of us. Also remember, CHEP's fiscal year ends in June or July so they are in big time save mode right now to try and help the balance sheets. All expenses will get tighter and tighter as their fiscal year draws to a close, aggrivated by the economy.

Chep has also been late with my payments. I have taken them like 2 loads of their pallets and has still not recieved any payments.

Be prepared to hound chep for overdue payments. From past my past experience senior mgt will put the brakes on all payments to recyclers and push the A/R end to capture $$$ owed. Just another game chep plays to bolster year end figures, only this year the motivation is not bonuses but a effort to minimize the effects of a horrbile year.

They were real slow at first setup - but last year has been on time we are small volume and maybe they are paying the little ones.
